Thank you for choosing Singapore Dragon Boat Association ("SDBA"). By accessing or using our web application platform, services, or mobile application ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the SDBA platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Eligibility

  1. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when signing up.

3. Usage Guidelines

  1. This platform is intended for booking and managing our services. Any misuse of the platform is strictly prohibited.
  2. Users are accountable for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and any activities carried out under their account.
  3. Users must interact respectfully with each other.
  4. All users are prohibited for unauthorized commercial use of the platform, attempting to hack the system, or sharing inappropriate content.

4. Payments

  1. Payments made on our platform are managed through our approved payment gateway commissioned by SDBA.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. Cancellations must be made in advance of scheduled bookings. Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of fees paid.
  2. Refunds will be provided in the form of a coupon that can be redeemed for future bookings.
  3. Refunds to your original payment method will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. SDBA owns all rights, titles, and interests in the platform, including designs, logos, and content.
  2. Users may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without prior permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. SDBA is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the platform, including interruptions, loss of data, or unauthorized access.
  2. Our booking addons (e.g., "Steers", "Trainers", "Lifeguards", and "Power Boats") may be provided by independent contractors, and SDBA is not responsible for their conduct, including but not limited to their actions, omissions, or any incidents arising during the provision of their services.

8. Data Ownership

  1. SDBA owns the data uploaded by users. This is not limited to user-submitted content.
  2. SDBA has the authority to retain the data and information to improve our services and marketing.

9. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

10. Termination

  1. SDBA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. Services purchased are non-refundable.
